Hi everyone! My name is Joe and I recently got back into surf casting pretty heavy. After a few year hiatus, I decided to get back into it. Bought a new Penn rod and reel from Quaker Lane Bait Shop. Those guys are truly awesome and have been a big help! Right now I frequent Camp Cronin, Monahan's, Galilee, and Narrow river for the most part. I hope to gain a lot more information from the folks here and I look forward to casting a few with some of you!

Is there a post limit that I must obtain to be able to start a thread? Specifically, I started a thread in StriperTalk and it is still not showing up. Do I have to be approved by a moderator every time I start a thread?

Thanks Guppy and Nebe. Ill have to try it again when I have something pertinent to post. Blew through a bunch of squid this weekend with no hits. A little discouraging. Definitely going to try slinging a bucktail this week instead.

Welcome Peterpan...assuming the wkfd is the west Kingston Fire Dept? Lots of great guys here and tons of knowledge to be obtained. The fire dept is the best boys club you could ever join but, this place is a close second.
