I thought he was playing for the Jets?

The jets ranked bottom 3rd in the league for run blocking last season. They were A better pass blocking line last year......they gave Geno Smith all kinds of time to find an open Defender.

So many homers on this board gonna be great when the jets win and I bring this post back for all the crying pats fans when they lose both jets game and are struggling in the afc east

Jets corner Dimitri Patterson goes AWOL, no one knows why

Disappearing cornerbacks are something of a trend with the Jets in recent years, but this is a new turn even for them.

According to Dom Cosentino of NJ.com, Jets cornerback Dimitri Patterson did not show up for Friday’s preseason game, and hasn’t communicated with the team since then.

General manager John Idzik told reporters Patterson has not communicated with the team since then.

“I’d like to speak to Dimitri,” Idzik said.

Idzik said he had talked to Patterson’s agent Drew Rosenhaus, who assured him that Patterson was physically fine, and that it was not a legal matter.

Otherwise, no one knows why he’s not showing up for work.

When Idzik took over the Jets, he had Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie at cornerback. Now, he can’t even find the lesser ones he has on the roster.

Patterson was the Jets’ top cornerback at the moment, with Dee Milliner sidelined with a high ankle sprain. But until they know where he is or why he’s not with them, they can’t count on anything.

Here comes the melt down.
