Electronic Recommendations

Fishfinder #^&#^&#^&#^& the bed last night so looking for something new. Have a Garmin 441S that I normally use as a charter that hooked up a transducer to hold me over for the short term. Couple that I'm considering are the Garmin echomap 70dv, Raymarine Chirp 7, Raymarine a78 or a Simrad NSS7. Anyone have experience with any of units?

I just went lowrance, just because I've been a Lowrance guy from the beginning and know them inside and out but I've been told by several people who rig boats for a living that Simrad is the current market leader.

Garmin, garmin, garmin. User friendly? Check. Reliable? Check. Great product support? Check. Looking for down\side view? They've got that too. You can't go wrong.

I would go with the Simrad. I was seriously considering replacing my perfectly good sitex with one before my wife got sick.
