Live wells.

Hi guys. I just got a live well. I would like to wire in some kind of
Pump or aerator. I was looking for input on different types, wiring options and set ups. Just curious what guys are using and what works and doesn't work. Thanks

is it a 55 gallon barrel?...I always used a 1200 gallon johnson live well pump wired to a fuse box with on-off switch... with a 2 inch pvc pipe for overflow over the stearn....also put a drain plug about 2 inches up from bottom...worked great for me....could hold 50 mac's

I have a 35 gallon Brute garbage can that I use for a well- I use a washdown pump that runs all day when I'm fishing live menhaden. keeps about 15 baits alive. biggest problem I have is that the flow goes backwards when I'm running due to the "suction" xcaused at the transom pick-up. I gotta figure out a check valve systen or something

With limited deck space I purchased a moller 23 gallon well that will fit under leaning post
