So what's up for the weekend

Finish remodel of bedroom.... Pat's ..fishing.. fishing.. fishing..

Work around the house, fishing, visit my parents, fishing and watch some football:patshelmet:

Sunday football

Picking up a new to me truck tomorrow (need S-B sticker) on my way to CT for a picnic with my block island crew and their wives. Hit the CT surf after the picnic. Hopefully try for some funny fish on Sunday.

I don't know, with Tom Brady potentially career ending calf injury (based on all the media blitz since he didn't show for practice) we might as well can the entire season!

I wish the sports media would at least 'try' to be creative and intelligent. Surely there's more in the sports world than the gambling-driven football stats, right?

If I hear or read another blip about "fantasy football" I'm gonna hurl.
I don't know what's worse, the amount of time some people waste on this, or the wacky mentality that these people develop, where they think they're ACTUALLY a football coach/scout?

OK, enough of the rant, now let's see some high school and college football!!!

my wedding on sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

will be running around all day saturday to get everything ready, maybe sneak out saturday am for a little fishing.

lots of people coming in from out of town tomorrow.

going to be a crazy couple days

then off to the cape for a week for the honeymoon, cant wait!!!!!!

You may wanna pass on the am fishing that day, and stick to running around in a pretend panic, like everyone else. You don't want her thinking fishign is more important than getting ready for your big day....

Just a 24 yr combat zone vet (married 24 yrs) oppinion ;)

For me this weekend I am going to take a break from fishign and spend some time in a field, shooting arrows into a target, getting sighted in for upcoming deer season. I use an old Bear recurve 55# draw that I have owned since 1984 at 16 yrs old. She still shoots straight and true.

every day i used to stop at the fred bear archery shop
and drool over the Bows.... on the way home from school
beautiful stuff there

two soccer games , One hockey game :jump1:

if I can get up EARLY tomorrow .a quickie fish trip ......that would make it 7 days straight out .:devil2:

possibly fish Sunday ..not working my schedule around Football in good fishing weather :fishin:

i hear ya. Im using this weekend as a mental break from fishing. I usually dont fish on the weekends anyway, but the last 2 weeks have been a fish bender. gotta spend some time with the wifey.

Worked on the house all day yesterday in anticipation of a fishing charter today. The charter was cancelled due to the conditions at the Block....I should have went out yesterday. Going to put the boat in the river for a little bit and watch me some football.
