Pick a day. Already told the boss man a severe case of fish pox was looming. I can meet you at the parking lot and take my car over. Was thinking of going it alone anyways if the bones are still in play.

Snuck over last night to fish the morning bite and got my first ever Bone.

So here it is 26SEP and there are still bones on the beach....wonder what this all means....

Hope they are still on shore next week with some bigger faster brothers.

Torture myself when I see shore guys casting to albies.

I have seen many SUVs with kayaks and fish buggies heading over.... Saw Stripermainiac's truck headed over earlier.

Last year there were board fish that were under length, this year maybe the same?

Ya know, bones push out albies. Bones are faster and more agressive on the bait. When they start slipping away, albies start mixing in and take over.

It's easy right? Just show up for a few days, oversleep, walk out onto a crowded fishless jetty and catch a Bone, then head to the other end of the island for a weighable Albie. Nuttin' hard about that.

Except for avoiding being thrown off of said jetty the next time you show your face.

Everyone there wanted to kill me. Or hoped I'd be struck dead. Can't blame them. How do you explain dumb luck? Lots of people there with more skill and experience. I just show

As an aside, Mr. Renegade was lamenting the fact that he had hooked a scup on his favorite epoxy jig until that scup miraculously turned into his first Bonito.

fished squibby pt last night and ran into Stripermaniac at the top of the tide.... no love for either of us unfortunately... the fishing has slowed way down both hardtails and bass/blues

Total Bass weighed in are down a lot from last year.

Mary Ann Angelone. I Googled her name because I worked with an Angelone, and I believe she's the widow of a retired secret service agent, and mother of a current one.

The Derby site is having major issues, she is not currently listed as a grand leader, though I'm sure I saw it last night...
