Farfalle with Ragu and American cheese.

Skip should have jack over for dinner...

FishermanTim 10-02-2014 07:22 PM

I've been pulling a few of our family recipes that my mom and dad got from friends and family.

One is call "chicken delight"
The other is called "tuti-fruti"

Now I have mastered these two meal (to family accolades).

My next challenge is to successfully make a flan.

Boy, I really missed all the home cooking I used to do.

Mom was and 2 sisters are like gourmet chefs. Wife not so much 👸. One sister calls me to pick up food on the way home when she cooks things I like - at least the wife is happy because she then doesn't have to cook.

That's actually a recommended way of cooking a turkey, keeps the white meat from drying out.

I love to cook, I do probably %75 of the cooking. My does well, she is just a picky eater so there's not a lot of variety when she cooks.

Love Lamb. I'd still rather wake up next to my middling cook than you though:)

I do all the cooking for thanks giving for 50 people+. 2 20lb birds and a 20 lb rib. stuffing and the rest of the sides. No desserts though. Lot of work but worth it when chow fest is going on.
