Replacing all the trim/casings on the windows this weekend. Do most people paint it - even if they will stay the same white color? Does it need priming?

I didn't paint mine . Use the screws and plugs . Hit it with a little jomax and bleach every other year and it looks great

the raw edges will get dirty with time. I would also use the cortex plug system, makes for a nice clean job.

Little trick with those Paul. If you install a screw and the board gets sucked in too tight or your trying to flush up a couple pcs, you can remove the little felt pad on the installation bit and adjust the board by backing out the screw.

I'm pretty sure you need to use a certain primer for that azek trim
