 Old cabinet question

What would be a good way to go about saving the wood from old old cabinets that have 3-4 layers of paint in them.
Surface Planner? Stripper? Burn em? |

 saving for what purpose?

 STRIP a corner
if it's just pine ...not worth it oak yes any other hardwood generally yes otherwise cabinet doors are free on craig's list |

Unless there's something special about the cabinets...vintage doors etc...I can't imagine what you'd get from the work to strip the wood. Also how old? If pre-1980's...

Take them to a salvage renovation store as is. Get a store credit for something you can use.
