Which Magic Swimmer do you use?

Just starting to look at the Sebile Magic Swimmers and was curious which ones folks are using. Thanks in advance for the info.

Canal Bait and Tackle Swimmer. Same action, less than 1/2 the price.

I use a few sizes of the MS a lot. In the spring I use the 1 and 1/2 oz slow sink most of the time around the beaches. In the canal I use the 3oz fast sink and the big azz one forget the weight. The knockoffs do work and are less dough, but some are a little stiff and don't swim as nice make sure its a good one

I use the bootleg ones... Exact same thing. Sebile prices forced someone to bootleg them, and me to buy them. Pinball machines have a "tilt"... So do plug prices

from what I understand from some of his postings online, he originally was going to make them for sebile and put up his own $$$ to have all the molds made, this is when they started to get real big and couldnt keep up with demand, then sebile was bought by pure fishing and they screwed the guy on the deal, so to recoup his investment back he started selling the clones/knockoffs, guy is great to deal with and will make custom packages for you, I know the CSA guys did a huge custom lot a year or two back from him.

Large white and fast

I'm not sure as to the back story. But great seller and excellent to do business with. :kewl:

I'm a big fan of primer white and silver black back.

I also like the "rad swimmer" that Cabela's sells.... Its kind of a big largemouth bait and needs hooks changed out. swims pretty good- about 6" long

ivanputski 12-27-2014 11:42 PM

The knock-off stick shads are great too. (as Chris said, they are technically not even knock--offs!)

large, white and fast........I'm not even goin' there (well, not in this thread anyways)

Thanks for the inputs guys.

do they make them in ghostessence? (sp?)

(I got one, but closing in rapidly on the second after all the holiday eats and beer and nog)

ProfessorM 01-01-2015 11:58 AM

I think they did start to remake that color. I just use white spray paint on the unpainted ones I usually buy.
