Mike Kensil = Villian , not the Pats

http://www.barstoolsports.com/boston...f-deflategate/

So as the clouds part over Foxboro and it becomes obvious Deflategate was just a witch hunt conducted by sore losers one name has come to the forefront. The ringleader if you will. His name Mike Kensil. Who is that you ask? Well that’s exactly the same question I asked when I first heard his name mentioned to me 2 days ago from a source close to the Pats. They said look this guy up. Well it turns out he is the former President of the Jets. He was there when Belichick turned in his resignation to come to the Pats. He was there during Spygate. His friends will tell you that he obsesses over his hatred of the Patriots. That he swore 1 day he’s get back at Belichick for leaving him the lurch and sending the Jets into a downward spiral of ineptitude and ruining his career.
Yes it is this Mike Kensil who is now Dir. of Football Operations at National Football League who was prowling the Colts sidelines last week. Yes it is this Mike Kensil, the former Jet with a longstanding grudge against the Patriots who was proactively looking for deflated footballs last week. It is the same Mike Kensil who whispered to Bob Kravitz in a dark tunnel of Gillette about deflated footballs. I’ve even heard rumors that he and the Colts equipment manager conspired to actually deflate the one football that came in at 10.5 PSI. The rest were closer to 11.5 PSI. It is this Mike Kensil who called Chris Mortensen to leak the story about Deflategate.
This of course explains why the league never said anything to the Patriots beforehand about deflated footballs. Why the Colts would risk playing the first half at a disadvantage. Because this was never about fair play. This was never about the integrity of the game. This was simply about revenge plain and simple. It was Mike Kensil trying to set a trap and embarrass the Patriots. Unfortunately what Mike Kensil and the rest of the world found out the hard way is that you don’t trap Bill Belichick, Bill Belhick traps you. Now the NFL is sitting with their #^&#^&#^&#^& in their hands. Belichick has all the answers and NFL looks like incompetent buffoons once again. And once again the NFL is going to have to take a hard look in the mirror and investigate itself over wrong doing. All because Mike Kensil had a grudge. For shame. For shame.

http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/01/26/nfl...il-deflategate

As I have said all along, the under inflated balls were NOT deflated by the Patriots. And as I thought, the one ball that was 2 psi under, was tampered with by the colts.

This guy should be fired, banned from the NFL for life. He has single handed tried(and may have succeeded) to ruin the Patriots organization and all of New England should be outraged.

And the latest leak of some person of interest, the locker room attendant on his way to the field, had to take a leak, big deal.

When this NFL report comes out in a couple months, Kraft will be asking " Where do I go to get our reputation back?"

maybe now the media can finish up their continuation of their jumping to conclusions and make an attempt to educate the haters who seem to be half of the country at this point.

On to Seattle

buckman 01-27-2015 09:02 AM

I hope the Patriots kick Seattle's ass ,walk off the field and get on the plane without saying a word to any press

Interesting stuff. Kraft, Belichick, and Brady were impressive behind the podium in Arizona yesterday. Now the Pats have to kick the Seahawks' butt.

Why? I am entitled to my opinion. Its all just lies and propaganda anyways no matter what the verdict!

We will never know the truth, its no different than the political views forum, Pro or against, Left or Right, Blue or Red.

As far as i am concerned Kraft writes the check to a patsy and that is it, no amount of evidence could convince me otherwise.

This is interesting information. Reported in a few places - so different sources or same source? Need a high level of proof and then open with both barrels.

I would greatly want to hear what comes out though before thinking the Colts deflated a ball.

Skippy is just being Skippy. Tough to be a Chiefs fan to be so close, yet so far ;) (BTW Skip - how is the job?)

Slipknot 01-27-2015 10:43 AM

how much air "accidentally" slips out while the colts trainer checks the ball pressure?

Ya can't trust an biased source with an agenda

True - which is why a proper investigation is essential

The Dad Fisherman 01-27-2015 10:53 AM

Damn right it is JR and know we smashed Both the Pats and the Seahawks makes me feel good knowing they had to cheat to get to Superbowl! :humpty:

zimmy 01-27-2015 11:06 AM

How do Kensil's Jet connections make him more suspicious of bias than Goodell's connections to Kraft?

Because those "Swiss Cheese" defensive schemes the Colts dialed up all afternoon would have worked if that ball wasn't an ounce shy.....that was obviously the difference maker.

I guess you did not read the article where it talks about since his time with the Jets, he is obsessed with getting back at BB for leaving his head coaching job way back then in the beginning of the Jets falling apart. He has an agenda to get revenge I guess.

Goodell has not handled anything right, in fact by hiring Kensil, he should also be removed from his post.

But we all know in 2 month's the report will not place any blame on nfl, just the bad patriots.:rollem:

You mean the "article" posted on Barstools.com, which is basically some random guys posting blogs? I read it. He is "obsessed" is quite a reach. I would be interested in reading some actual evidence of his obsession.
This one is one the actual articles written by a journalist that I read after reading the barstool thing.:http://www.newsday.com/sports/footba...tion-1.9849751
Even the SI article linked above said Kensil was called by the Colts during the game, not that he went snooping around to check the balls.

I do like many of the postings on barstool. Especially the unique way of identifying miss universe.

spence 01-27-2015 03:17 PM

What I still can't understand is how the NFL's management of the situation has been so terrible and the impact this has had right before the big game.

What I also still can't understand is how so many can criticize on rumors and justify their behavior on "the integrity of the game."

I can't wait for apologygate.

Yes, they called him and he was on the sidelines, therefore I conclude he is the leak that worded it so that it implied guilt over and over after each time the Pats defended themselves. then the media blew it out of proportion, the nfl has botched this whole thing worse than the Ray Rice thing no question about it.

The Patriots did not alter the ball psi after inspection, PERIOD.

we will all see

Slipknot 01-27-2015 05:19 PM

They are finally talking about it on WEEI right now

it smells very bad for the NFL

The NFL has a big hole to get out of. Given that they have now stated it will take several weeks to get to a conclusion, I'm wondering if they hope it will just fall off the news cycle after the Superbowl.
