Depends... Did they flop back on their stance on SB regulations yet?

I'm not going, it's fun to catch up with the boys, and hold some gear, but I'll buy what I need local and online anyways... too many other things to do on a weekend!

pbadad 02-25-2015 06:35 AM

Friday

Clammer 02-25-2015 07:19 AM

nope

PaulS 02-25-2015 07:30 AM

I've been telling someone that I'm going to boycott this year. I'll be going Friday.

peterpanwkfd 02-25-2015 07:55 AM

Saturday and sunday. Mainly to hear John Skinner, DJ Muller, and Zeno Hromin.

DZ 02-25-2015 08:17 AM

Be aware there are plenty of vendors attending who have voiced support for more conservative striped bass management measures. It was not feasible for them to boycott a show at the last minute - they deserve your vocal/economic support at the show. The Salt Water Edge has been in the forefront. Don't be hesitant to ask the various vendors how they stand on the issue.

MakoMike 02-25-2015 08:29 AM

Still debating it.

JohnR 02-25-2015 08:53 AM

Probably not - TFCTFN will take up all of my time.

Jackbass 02-25-2015 09:39 AM

Nope I will save my money. I don't need anything

Don't think i am making it this year. First time in many many years for me. I have enough gear and i am trying to watch my spending so its not a good place to be.

Sparfish 02-25-2015 12:05 PM

Love to hear people staying away, not a big crowd kinda guy. Syked for the seminars and programs Saturday and Sunday. Kids love the handouts, coloring books, etc. Thought about going over to the RISAA booth and making sure that people who stop by there understand RISAA sell-outs and dont really care about the Striped Bass population. Wonder how long before they try to have me removed? Plus it will give me something to do between seminars.

Starting the weekend with my first MMA fight (or boxing for that matter), Bellatore @ Mohegan Sun. I know Brennan Ward pretty well, and hope to see him get back on the winning track. Sunday after the Saltwater Fish Expo, I get to Jam on my bass with my group... Weekends don't get much better than this, when actual fishing is not involved! Royal Southern Brotherhood in Fall River in a week plus snowboardinig, Castafari Tuna Sem in two weeks, Colorado skiing in three weeks... Then it's April and time to get out and fish... The season has started!

I'm boycotting Next year. And all exhibitors who believe in conservation should do the same for next year.

Ditto. I refuse to support anything these guys do.

I was a very active member for many years and I know the monetary abuses that take place behind the scenes.

Sea Dangles 02-28-2015 10:50 AM

I like the vendors that have some old or experienced plugs for sale. I am a big fan of the old Gibbs needles and I was about to buy some at a table that were nip for $30. Iron Mike brought me to a table where I got 3 experienced needles for $20!
Great score,they catch
