Mole Crabs

Got a ton of mole crabs appearing over here. I am going to try and play with some for the bass tonight.

Anyone ever use these. Fly or live ?

Where's "over here"? They can make great Tog bait.

It starts pissing rain as I walk onto the beach. :crying:

Threw some plugs as it was still light out. Caught some 5lb ish blues and didn't get busted off.

At least there was one thing to smile about. :)

Try the crabs when I can.

Just read an article last night suggesting mole crabs as bait for stripers.

Fly guys were ALL excited when I mentioned I would do the light tackle thing with the Moles and see what is up.
An old timer here told me to use a lead core or slider and lightly toss it iut and let it sit. And then to hold on !:D
