Those are the ones O.D. Mike.

The key is to find a pair of aluminum ferrules with a diameter so that re-purposed mobile phone car charger wire just fits through. For one set, I used a power drill and bit to bore out the holes until the wire just fit.

iamskippy, yes. I use a pair of vice grips.

I cut the crimps in half and some of mine are permanently hooked to pliers and belts
You can also make paracord ones that are interesting.

I like gearkeepers alot because there is nothing hanging off you to get caught up on anything.

I grabbed some of the gear keepers myself Bob after seeing your belt set up ....can't wait to try them out
