First Signs of Spring
Heard, then saw, a red wing blackbird, perched on some reeds along brackish water.
Won't be long till peepers start makin' some noise. Heard that herring scouts are starting to show up as well. |
Freaking snowing again down here!
|
Lol let it snow, let snow, let it snow. Next weeks forecast shows snow/rain mix in several days, hopefully that changes.
I had 4 robins in my backyard Sunday. The birds know more than I do, I'll go along that it's spring now. Saturday projected 64 here with rain all day, my basement is going to flood something fierce. Hope the washer and dryer float. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
I saw a peeper or some other type of small frog hopping across the road today.

Damn grackles are bathing in the pool again ... with blue jays watching on. Sure sign.

Having heard osprey have arrived in Narragansett, I imagine herring are trickling in.
|
I saw a peeper on a snowboard in my backyard. He was pretty good.
