What a day
I was pretty excited about today after all the wind we've had, so I woke up early, headed out before sunrise and had a killer day. Started off with acres of schoolies blitzing on juvenile sand eels. Got em on soft plastics, topwaters, and clousers on the flyrod. Headed to a big fish spot and had several follows but no takes. My heart was about to explode every time a 30 plus pounder followed my lure to the boat. Super spooky today. I'm gonna hit em with eels tomorrow. Ended the day with monster sea bass on bucktails tipped with some leftover crabs I had. Sorry no pics, the laptop is on the fritz and I can't figure out how to upload em from the phone. Hope some of you other guys got to take advantage of the awesome weather today. Actually felt like summer out there.

no fish but went to the air show ride out from Swansea wasn't as bad as expected ride in was 100% better 300 yards from the ramp I hit this afternoons Cold front cold cold wind and rain and 3 women on board who know nothing about docking and a 20kt wind dead a stern took several approaches but made it damage free and no injury's

You didn't miss much....pogies were hard to find early on and the stri-ped ones even harder.....
Keep saying it should be any day now...but all that keeps showing is the wind.....:cens: |
