Cape Fishing Turning into Wicked Tuna
 

So, #^&#^&#^&#^&y and I were out at our usual haunt which was Loaded with boats today.

A certain Captain (who posted 17 pictures of all of the big fish his charters have been catching on the outer Cape on Facebook last night) pulled up along side and started screaming and swearing at #^&#^&#^&#^&y and I. He says we follow him (we're always out there before he even leaves the dock), and we drive into his breaking fish (which he did to us at 5:00 am today as we were doubled up).

You guys all know #^&#^&#^&#^&y and I, we follow the rules on the water, and we have been fishing this area for a long time.

I can't wait until tomorrow when those 17 Facebook pics really pay off.

To which he responded (after thinking for a mintute) "f$&k You!"

Then he drove away.

I don't say this much but he's a tool. I hope every boat from the South Shore makes the trip over tomorrow and rewards him for his self marketing on Facebook.

What a zoo,,, I thought I heard people screaming at each other.
I got yelled at " you're going through the fish" at idle speed I might add, never saw a splash never mind a bird

You want to see a horror show go to Race Point where all those big bass are for the Commercial opening on Thursday.

All the real time pics on FB are finally taking their toll on places other than the canal.

No yelling today, but there were 150 boats out there by 6 AM.

I bet they are Chatham bound tomorrow.

We'll see on Saturday if they come back.

Last one for me either way. Doctor's appointments up the ying yang for the next two weeks.

He and I got into it really good like 10-12 years ago. Standing on the covering boards, really going at it.
Next day, said good morning, tipped our hats - all good. We've been friendly and chat it up ever since.
Stuff just gets tense sometimes, not worth the stress.

Wish I could trailer to Chatham tomorrow.

Yep - there is little balance between publicly sharing reports and live photos and protecting a spot.

Similar to the scene from Jaws when the mayor offered a reward for the shark. It gets insane. Watching guys from the beach, when the fishing is bad, never mind when it's good.
