We lost another one.

I just noticed that 1Dozenraw passed away this week. :(

Rest in peace Kevin.

bart 06-20-2015 07:00 AM

What?! That's terrible. He was a nice guy.

R.I.P. Kevin :(

piemma 06-20-2015 07:10 AM

Where did you see it?

Nebe 06-20-2015 07:20 AM

I'm shocked. I saw him a couple months ago and he looked very healthy.
What is it about surf casters and early death?

Where did you see this, Eb? FB? I can't find it anywhere, either.

Very sad. He looked healthy to me as well when I last saw him....

piemma 06-20-2015 07:27 AM

I am blown away. I knew Kevin had the same cancer I have (bladder) but last we spoke in May it was in remission.

piemma 06-20-2015 07:32 AM

Kevin was one of the best. A surf fisherman's surf fisherman.

Only guy I ever knew that would be casting bucktails on the CTown breachway in January.

What a huge loss.

Maybe why I am transitioning to more freshwater!

BigFish 06-20-2015 07:57 AM

That is terrible. RIP 1dozenraw.

Very sad news. Didn't know Kevin, but enjoyed his posts. His knowledge of blanks was second to none, and helped me decide on one, on more than one occasion. T's&P's to him and his family.

Sleep deprivation is one of worst things for you.

Shocking. Kevin has done a favor here and there for me in the past, and actually sold me an Allstar 1208 blank that he got to Saltheart to wrap for me..... Now both gone.

Sad to hear...

I didn't know him, but he always provided good feedback here on many subjects related to fishing and rods specifically. My condolences to his family.

Always cheerful, even when he was really sick. A man who made everyone around him smile. Chuckie's picture brought a tear to my eye. I'm going to miss Kevin a lot. Godspeed my friend

I remember selling him at least one rod, maybe two. I think we even discussed stereo equipment at a park and ride on Route 1. Seemed like a great guy. RIP.

BEETLE 06-20-2015 06:11 PM

Very knowledgeable guy. Will miss reading his posts.
RIP Sir

Green Light 06-20-2015 08:47 PM
