saw them for the first time last night...
 

while checking a few of my regular spots, I happened across a school of squid cruising around the town docks. They were probably their to feed on whatever was there. Could have been the hundreds of thousands of minnows, or the worm hatch, but I couldn't say.

All I can say is that with all that food in the water, the bass were not giving my various presentations a first OR second look!

Just planning on next time!!

squid are very cool creatures...... and delicious when eaten fresh. next time throw a jig in there and get some eats

I didn't have anything small enough to snag any, but it was cool to see them swimming around in one big school, kind of like bait fish do.

oh....i thought you were talkin about an Alien visitation lol
