Fishing Cape Ann

DOGS ! ! DOGS ! ! everywhere:nailem: :nailem: :rocketem: :rocketem: Every place that I went today nothing but dogs, off shore inshore. They were even in 18' of water. What do you have to do to get a stripe bass??? The federal goverment can't prove it by me that dog fish are an indangered species.:af: :af: :af:

You must have been out by the groner. Heard that there were some even up to 6' long. I got some bass over by Cranes, all just shy of 28". Oh well, I'll take quantity over the big one anyday.

I never fish by the groner, don't like big crowds. I either go 1-2miles east or west of it . Was 2.9 miles off the breakwater and also fished up close to shore from Braces Cove to Thatcher Island. Just a bad day.

I'll be heading out that way Sat and Sun. Maybe see you out there. Hopefully there will be a cure from the dogs :) .
