look at a map.. they are pretty obvious, look for boon island and you are almost there.. assuming you are talking north.. no fish there though.. dont bother.

Pick up a Capt. Seagull fishing map at any decent shop. They have all the named spots with gps coords.

agreed. if you want to try to follow any of the mid/off-shore reports this is an essential learning tool. Also sold online.

If you are talking about the fingers I think you are, to my recollection it is just NW of the dump, but I don't have my chart in front of me...

This pic might help but if you can't read it might have to get your own Capt Seagull charts :)

Thanks for all the feed back I have a capt seagull chart that was given to me but it was all loran LOL I ended up scrolling the chart plotter to where I though it was and it was correct .

But Sunday after leaving Wesport harbor into a steady 15kt head wind and 2-3 chop I went to the Claw instead ..

Upon my arrival I was surprised to see and speak to a capt from point Judith fishing the claw (tuna) as one finned by the boat a few whales and lots of dolphin . So we set up our drift in 3-5ft seas with a drift sock drift completely across the claw one Blue dog who rolled up the leader and was foul badly even with the sock we had a 1.5 mph drift

We motored back up and reset the drift as the last bit of chum when overboard and 30 min from calling it a day we hooked up a 62 in Mako who looked whipped until i tail roped him he went crazy boat side the we dragged him for an hour(though he was done) lifted him into the boat.. only to have him go ballistic on the deck!! and me jumping on the leaning post like a mouse was in the house he wore a 5gal bucket the whole ride in
