another picture of the fish this time with the captain . He stoped by the shop with it while on his way to the taxidermists.

Unbeliveable, I hope that youngster keeps fishing. Mike was the Cap mounting the fish for the kid or himself?

mikecc 07-22-2003 07:01 PM

I believe the captain was dropping it off for him

Goose 07-22-2003 07:07 PM

Mounting?

If I understood Mike(captain) correctly when I talked to him.
The kid that caught it was having a replica mount made and Mike was having the skin mount done for himself.

That is one big girl dont you all think???

Can you imagine getting one that big in the suds?? OMG!!!
You would probably be shaking so much that it would register on the richter scale!! :laughs:

I got to see that fish last saturday. Biggest one I've ever seen, and then some.

beachwalker 07-23-2003 06:04 AM

My oh my ! What a fish !

Not that it was anything close but I was broken off last week by the biggest I have EVER had on. 10 minutes and I decided to horse it a bit. Snap. Dead center on the line. Man did I scream. Mambo minnow at 11pm.

It makes us know that this is quite a year.

I like Goose's comment. You gotta think it's there every cast.

What a fish !
