i like the whitey! i have had great success on white or pearl danny's at daybreak. i never meet sun up without at least one in my plug bag.

NG - what are the weights/lengths on those?

MAC 07-24-2003 03:26 PM

The white one is a pearl, it just doesn't show in the photo. The lure is 6 1/2" long plus the rear loop and the lip and they weigh 2.8 ozs.

VERY nice Dave, so are you going to do a "finish" product comparison on the line of consumer reports for us? How many have you tried?

I had to order a new bit for the lathe, broke it turning Corian. I think the end result is worth it.

Chris

Striperknight 07-24-2003 04:51 PM

Corian? - like the stuff they make countertops out of? what
are you making with that?

Slipknot 07-24-2003 04:52 PM

Very nice Dave :btu:
I like them all.

Chris, Tony Stetzkos' dad used to turn plugs from Corian also, I have seen them. Work good if you want sinkers for needles.

I have a bunch of scraps and should try making some this winter.

Corian questions answered here in the rod building forum - reel seats

Plugs from corian I though they would be to heavy. Hmmmm something else to try

N G,

Did you switch eye types?. The eyes look lost on your darker plugs. Hard to see 'em on that 3 of 8 pic.

NIB 07-28-2003 10:23 PM

I gave old man stetzko the corian for some plugs, when he finnished a few he gave me some. HEAVY isn't the word for these, put two in your pocket and your pants will be down around your knees after takeing 3 steps.

capesams 08-08-2003 08:07 PM

NG....your going to town on those plugs..........stick on eyes r cheep,,,,they'd go good in the middle of that black painted eye.
