Looks Like I Am In Dutch With The Wife...
Supposed to head to North Carolina tomorrow for the weekend....that was before a hurricane, Flood Warnings, and a State of Emergency has been declared down there.....
I'm saying it's not a good idea to head down in that.....so I'm trying to talk her into bagging it....but she's not happy at that suggestion. Just trying to use common sense.... |

When is your return flight? If storm is in the area, you can bet your last dollar that the airline will not have any equipment there to get you out...... Call the airline and ask what they are offering for rebooking given the hurricane. My wife manages global travel for an insurance company and she is already getting the warnings and suspensions of service. Plus there will be no rail nor rental cars available.

You might end up without power and the associated conveniences, but you are far enough from the coast where you should be safe.

Latest tracks, based on multiple models now, have it passing that area well offshore. You should be fine.
Of course, that's today's models. Way different than Yesterdays. :D |
hope every one is ok down that way
