know anything about Alcar?
 

looking at a few boats for next year, including a 21ft Alcar center con.....

anybody have any feedback on them? I like the lines and the deck layout is OK (from what I can see in the pics online...)


so- whaddya know about them?? any thoughts??

i had a 21 bought just the hull & we finished off as a work skiff with a cabin / just a little more than i the middle .................................Great rig & ride .I snap a stringer ,but fixed it from the ourside ....never should have sold it ..............................There is a guy that watches this site , that is a commercial R&R he had one & fished everywhere with it ..........he sold it only because he could get a contender ...... the guy he sols it to still fishes out of it . he could help ya out but probably won,t reply .......... The 17 & 19 sucked ><><

the one I saw is a 21footer- its "finished"- theres a regular console/floor, and looks like forward deck storage.

just don't know anything about their construction/durability....(?)
