What apps do you guys use?
Hello there, I'm just wondering what apps do you use for fishing?
I use Navionics and Spyglass on my iPhone, they are really great and cover all my navigation questions, but I hope to make the list bigger with your help! Maybe some decent weather apps or social apps for fishing junkies |
Weather/radar= wunderground

Sailflow looks legit, but isn't it too much - 45$ -for a 12 months subscription? Or it's really worth the money?

They have changed the format of the site in recent years. I liked how the original site was. If you google old sailflow, you can still get the old format, I use this one. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

My brother just turned me on to this site.
windy.com Can scroll forward on bottom of screen for future forecasts Haven't tried on a phone... |
Windy.com has been on my phone for a while now, pretty cool when you dig into it.
Flytomap is excellent for tides and currents too. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

Tides and buoyweather.

NOAA current predictions are helpful.......actually crucial.
I use NOAA weather unless timing is critical in which case I use fishweather. I use Capetides for simple tidal and moon/sun timing I find MagicSeaweed worth checking for swell info if making a shore trip somewhere swells can be an issue. None of the above are apps. Just websites. |
MyRadar is m ore functional than Wunderground for radar. Not sure if Wunder has improved over the last couple of years but you can overlay the wind map on MyRadar and see how it may play against different angle shorelines or how it may blow against different currents.

I also have moved to myradar for above reasons. Looks cool too
