snow blower cup holder

Good mornin all. Pam bought me a new snow blower since I killed 1 twice last winter. Does anyone know of anyplace that makes or sells a cup holder that I can attach to it? I need a place to put my beer so The damn snow blower doesn't eat it/drink it LOL when I miss :sled:place it while snow blowing. Tight lines Ron

I think if you search "baby jogger or stroller cup holder" you will find what you are looking for :)

Well you could always make a bracket to hold the keg, the tap can vary in height so as not to interfere with the controls but the general idea is this. You could also run a hose straight off the tap to your mouth eliminating the need for a cup altogether.

I like that idea. Pam says I'm nuts LOL. She said whats next a cup holder for my beer on my Canal Rod

JohnR 12-04-2015 05:10 PM

That would be a Beer Hat, no?

Ron just use a three inch diameter piece of pvc. Cut to desired length and put and end cap on it. Find apprpriate place to attach it to the blower, just not on the handholds if they are the electric handwarming type.

That's how I would have done it ! Probably part of the reason why I don't drink anymore..

I like the pvc idea. Got loads of that around. I used to use that for a fly rod carrier on top of my buggy. Thanks

Man you don't need a holder ,you just need to place can or bottle at certain spots in the snow stays cold and won't spill

Beer will go flat in no time with vibration of snow blower. Stick them in the snow.

That sounds like the voice of experience, Josh......

I think the issue is when ron puts the cans in the snow he miscalutes their location and hits them with the snowblower.

Yup Bill you hit the nail right on the head. not only does the snowblower drink my damn beer but then i have to find and pick up the broken beer bottle when the snow melts LOL. as far as the beer goin flat wwweeeeellll I don't think it will last all that long LOL.

2 yrs ago i brainstormed on similar issue
I attempted to take a hanging cup holder that u wedge in the window in the car and duct taped it to the handles.well it did not work so well
I only drink cans as i am not allowed to have glass so these are the issues i encountered with cans of beer and snowblowing. Problems were several.
1). Usually it was so friggin cold that the beer spewed up and froze into either a beersicle or slushie
2). Shook like holy hell and spilt everywhere
3). Swirling snow that was gettin blown ended up packed on top of can
4). Once it actually vibrated out and didnt realize it until on the pass back in the dark and it chewed it up and spit it all over yard

I just leave and take frequent beer breaks. I can take a beer down in 4 gulps in record time

FYI. It is clearly stated in most user guides not to consume alcohol while operating machine

Here you go Ron.

Pam said she figured it out. attach a fishing rod with a beer hanging in front of the snowblower. that way the snowblowing gets done quicker. I'd still rather keep persuing the holder idea. It's like lawn mowing . Gotta have a cold beer going.MMMM Same with using the grill. LOL

Just get a hydration pack and your all set easily holds 2 gallons . That should last you doing the property , And no spillage except what you let dribbe off your chin . Which will freeze into beer sickles in no time .

They even come in safety orange in case you fall face down in the snow , You can be found .

stripermaineiac 12-07-2015 08:26 AM

LOL Tried the Cameback when i was winter climbing yrs ago. Damn beer froze . we get CCCCOOOOLLLLDDDD up here when it snows most times.Last winter it stayed around 9 degrees most of the storm.
as far as a blue tarp for a flag goes well maybe. There's more blue tarps covering everything from schools to wood piles than you can count an many cars with them as replacement windows LOL.

Hit REI and grab camel pac, meant for water for skiers and hikers, but water is highly overrated; better to put a nice IPA in there.
