no volume
running windows 10
audio alerts when reboot when go to a video.....no volume researched online...no luck with instruction any pointers??? |
1 hand typing
pain ridden rght hand wrapped in lido caine patch but here goes
could be a driver issue ,,,, so go to your sound device in device mgr An hit properties/driver then either - update or rollback run the test to see if it's werkin properly .... prolly says yup or do a system info check lookin for the exact hardware then go directly to manufactuere sp and re d/l their driver for it... note folder d/l goes to as ya might have to do it twice also can check in control panel for any hardware changes |
oh recently i had to buy a new wire from pc to speakas cuz it frayed
right at the jack ...forgot to mention check all wires occasionally they have pulled out |
Open video in a different player - like VLC and see if it works. You may also be accidental sending volume to another device (like monitor or something)
|
also
plug in a set of headphones as a check....see
|
still a no go
even with headphones |
don't even have sounds options in device manager.....
|
Go to manufacture's website, download latest audio drivers for your system and install.
When you open the volume control panel - how many devices do you see to play sound? Do they have Xs on them? |
try right clicking the little speaker icon on your task bar
|
thanks guys
making progress updated drivers... now no volume only with youtube videos what to do now?? |

YouTube has no sound, did you
adjust the volume icon near the video Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
yes
|
i have a desktop doing the same thing
still haven't figgered out what it want's according to all the trouble shooters everything is fine :wall: |
OKAY here's how i fixed both pc's no playing sounds
in both cases after selecting sound, right clicking speaker icon hitting properties , then advanced and changing it over to 41000 megahrtz cd quality they both work sweet |
my system keeps repeating itself ie loosing sound
so i open sound in cp click manage devices and make my headphones the default, then switch back to speakers as default, and it corrects it instantly |
