Got my first largie yesterday, nice 2 pounder. Couldn't resist my jerkbait with looong pauses. Nice to get it going again!

tracked down some truckbows yesterday. felt amazing to get back in the water and feel a little tug on the line. saw a bass shoot out of the weeds when I was walking too. gotta throw the bass stuff in the car now I guess, woot!

I saw a bunch of bass yesterday in the shallows but couldn't get em to bite.

Went to the Housatonic TMA yesterday; water still too fast to wade safely but I did get a small brown from the bank on a bugger.

What did p**s me off was the f******g drift boats and the sports trying to lift fish from the bottom with beadheads.....

bass fishing has been pretty good for about a month. Jus really got back into this year with the pockets of nice weather.

Yep, it's the one I use too. I knew the water was going to be fast and high, just wanted to go and didn't feel like making a hike to get to a wade-able area. At 1000CFS, waist deep is tough to keep your feet planted where I like to fish and you can barely get off the bank.
