I wonder what has happened to all of the stripers that used to get caught by shore.

Slipknot 04-13-2016 08:54 PM

35 lbs of fish per day, per animal.
Every day.

That's enviornmental impact.

That's amazing, especially when one considers how much food each seal consumes. Don't seals taste like chicken?

Not only how many pounds of food eaten daily, but the variety of foods eaten. They are affecting more than one aspect of the "fishing" industry.

Mother Nature not doing her job. Should be some sort of viral or bacterial epidemic by now for these things.

Rockport24 04-14-2016 01:40 PM

seriously, too much protection of seals and not enough protection of great whites
why can't the chinese or japanese come and kill these things instead of sharks and whales? somebody has to make seal into a delicacy.

That much seal chit will lead to a few beach closures.... And then we can connect the dots from the seal chit to the worms in our one cod limit catch too..... Do gooders and moronic science. Every time one surfaces around the boat I wish I had 12 gauge slug gun....

Big Dave 04-14-2016 05:17 PM

30 lbs of fish to eat per day x 15000 seals is 450,000 lbs / that's a lot of seal poop going into the environment every day. that cannot be healthy.

Sea Dangles 04-14-2016 09:27 PM

Seal #^&#^&#^&#^&= worms in the cod you are not allowed to fish for.

I'm still looking for a way convince the Public that Seal Blubber has Healing Properties.

It could Potentially Cure Autism.
