This is Not A Striper Question, But About Circle Hoods

Hi Guys,
Paliaso and I are going out of Hampton on Smith and Gilmore in a couple of weeks (for his cousins bachelor party).

My question is this, do you need to put circle hooks on jigs, teasers, and bait hooks?

I thought I read about this, but can't find anything to back it up.

Thanks,
Rick

I don't see how Circle Hooks would work well on Jigs, not as good on teasers, but certainly work proper on bait.

Short answer is no.

Yeah, I couldn't think about how they would work on jigs. Thanks for the update, Mike. I tried reading everything I could before I posted.

I'm not going to jig, anyway. It's still too soon for my back.

It's a bachelor party for paliaso's cousin who has gotten married twice in three years. Can't wait to see how these guys roll (or drop).

Cheap trip, though...

Thanks,
Rick

I will be catching large stripers with in days with crappy hooks in the crazy hood. Pics will follow this week!

Yeah, I guess a circle hood would be the kind of neighborhood that Tommy Hamilton lived in at the Cape. You once referred to it as a "culture sack."
