Heady
First can in quite some time. I mean like pre-trillium and pre-Tree House. Still quite good, but one of many now I think. That and I think my palate preference has be altered by Trilliums.

Yep, Heady was amazing and is still a great brew. But other brewers have caught up and surpassed them.

DDH Scaled up at Trillium this week. I need a bigger beer fridge... and my wife didn't say no when I brought it up.

Totally agree - Heady should just expand nationally like others have done (stone, ballast, lagunitas) now they are just another great local brew (one of many) you don't need to travel far to get top quality beer these days.
Also totally agree on trillium changing the palate - it has such a distinct delicious flavor. |
Having it for first time. It is a very good beer. I agree though that other ne beers (melcher, vicinity, haze, etc) are better (at least to me) and easier to get. I would definitely get it if the opportunity pops up, but would not put forth the effort it typically takes to get it. Definitely enjoying it though.

Try Crusher some time, but don't plan on tasting much of anything else afterwards. Maybe, Heady, then Focal and then Crusher for the trifecta. Not a bad way to end the day or enjoy a lazy afternoon.
