Fishing Cape Ann
 

Fish were hot and heavey off of Cape Ann today. Heavey fog kept alot of boaters off of the water. It was pea soup, couldn't see more then 20-30 yards. You always have the jerk that goes full bore with no rader. We had 11 good fish today all over 36 " nice day. Very few dogs:rocketem: :rocketem:

Thats a good report FR. We decided to head south today due to the weather and had sun most of the day. Took the day off from fishing though, just lazed on the beach. Will be back out there next weekend. Maybe the dogs are gone? Man they were thick last week......

NOPE ! ! ! Dogs aren't gone:af: :nailem: We had a few dogs but not like they were . Some days dogs:wall: and some days stripers:happy: :happy:

It seems this year that there just aren't the fish around,very spotty,even in shore. you could always go and catch 10-20 small ones in years past but not this summer. Don't anybody tell me that the water is to cold or like last year,too warm etc: We seem to always have an excuse. The fish just aren't there at times.
