Ft Myers update
 

No boat trip wind showed up big Monday trip canceled.. but was able to get some Snook from shore on soft plastics cool fish only got small ones they jump like smallmouth bass ..they tear up leaders but you can lip them like stripers .. also caught a sea trout and a small Jack loved all the the ocean life .. from the manatee to the dolphins jumping mullet had a spotted rays surprise me swimming by my feet.. loved it will do again

I have a good list of guides to try next time I head down there.
I did not get out on a boat either but I'm ok with it.
I wet a line a few times in the back ponds at my brother's house trying for bass but mostly enjoyed the week as a tourist on vacation. I had a good time swimming out on Sanibel and Captiva, those beaches are beautiful and the water is perfect. Those storms on Monday were crazy
