still nothing for me
 

went to webb state park yesterday, kind of crappy out, fished 4-6pm at the very tip of it aiming the boston skyline, still nothing, anyone have any tips for me :) was i in the wrong spot, still nothing this season

Have you fished the nut island pier in quincy?

They do have some luck from there, and I know as a fact fish were caught from a boat very close to that area....

I have not heard much lately about the action there though..

I actually saw a group of decent fish working the surface right at the mouth of the back river the other morning... right after first light. That's pretty close to where you were.

They ignored my lure completely... lots of bait in the area too.

i might go to back river today. i read a report that blues are hording there.

The back and town rivers were packed full of small herring yesterday, but they were not being bothered, this was around 6:30 AM......I thought there should be some game fish there with all that bait... NADA....and I Don't know why.....

may try nut island soon, anyone ever seen one of these boats, its a bass boat very light and portable, do you think this would be alright to drop in the ocean in calm areas like worlds end or even beach areas, my buddies picking one up tomorrow for freshwater but i've been trying to convince him to go for stripers in it, he thinks im crazy, but i think it can be done in calm waters http://www.directboats.com/gator.html

loc, there is a pier u can fish on it. but the tricky is lifting the bas up.

Its not always just the ocean, boat wakes are much worse. If your near a channel. It would be bad...JMHO

There are fish at this exact spot, any tide, any moon. They'll take chunks from what I've heard.

you can drop that in at a boat ramp, but i will be throwing it on the roof of my suv, it only ways 130 lbs, i figure if people can go kayaking in that area, then i could use that boat

I think kayaks are built a little differently and have a different center of gravity with someone in them. Sitting up on those seats in one of those little boats likely makes them a little top heavy. Sea kayaks are designed to handle waves.

You could probably get away with it fishing in some of the rivers, but I'd advise against going anywhere without wake restrictions. I've been out in the harbor in really snotty stuff and the chop from boat wakes on a busy day is as bad or worse than 20knot winds.

Not trying to preach, but its not worth getting dumped and losing your gear or much worse.

yea, your probably right, i need to catch some stripers soon though, im dying over here and i wanna try and grill some up i got alot of ideas here

is that on northern cape, at the lighthouse?? i just did a search for it, im not very familiar with the are, thanks again for the info though

Sorry about that: you would need a boat. 40-60 feet of water. Tubes or live eels.

If you go out in that boat give me a call telling me where and when!!
I always like to fish in a area were there is already Chum in the water!!!
