Agreed, if you are targeting stripers. Make sure you stay inside state waters.

If you are looking for a comfortable place to dock I would go to Champlin's. the price is reasonable. They have grills for cooking the days catch. There is a great bar with live music on the wharf. Showers, etc.

If you were talking about anchoring and fishing for part of the night then I would try Sandy Point depending on the tides and it's a short run to Champlin's. SW corner is a good spot but the furthest away from the Great Salt Pond. Wind and tide of course are critical to that day's decision.
