What startded out as a dismal foggy day turned into a good 4hr trip. We had caught 8 blues about 6lbs. or so, a half dozen dogs:nailem: :nailem: and 2 nice stripers. One was 45" 40lbs. had a big gerth, and one 25 pounder.:happy: :happy:

nice!!! i've yet to catch one that big...

i'm headed out tomorrow AM before work. if you don't mind sharing, were you using bait?

was chunking herring a mile west of the groner.

Good report FR.....going out for the lobsta this weekend. Have some out of town guests and they want some lobsta!!!

Are you going out sat? Maybe I can trade ya ....a striper filet for a couple of bugs.......:cool:

We were in bout the same spot last Friday AM during the monsoon.
Very good results as well!!
40# is a nice fish.
