Trip yesterday
fished a little yesterday off of Newport. I noticed that the water is brown. Does anyone know what this is about. I noticed that on the oncoming tide the brown water was getting pushed against the shore. Looked a little like Algae. Good trip caught striper, seabass, scup and of course bluefish. Saw no signs off albie or bonito. I wonder of he dirty water is causing problems with the fish?

I saw it on Sunday, it was weird. I was in clean water fishing and it was good, can't imagine that stuff helps the fishing.

Rob- I was fishing the east passage of Narragansett Bay and once the rusty water got really dense the fishing shut off From what I have learned the aglae isn't toxic but does reduce the oxygen in the water.

My father calls me and says:
" All this disgusting SH*T water is moving in from new york" I was cracking up... I love his theories. |
RI guys crapping in the water so they don't lose their spot to a Mass guy. Happens all the time.
