Paint stripper for plastic plugs
Anyone have a recommendation for paint stripper that's safe for plastics?
Have a mess of old school rough sided redfins and ss darters that need some love this winter I'd rather not sand them down |
I either glass bead em or just use some scotchbrite on the original paint. No need to go complete stripe If you are going to just paint them again. That is how I do magic swimmers. Turn them all into white.

Have to get the redfins down to bare plastic The old paint especially the chrome flakes right off Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
Zip strip used to have a latex one that didn't hurt plastic. I used it to strip some old Creek Chub poppers an it worked fine. Other than that 200 grit works ok. A trick I was told is use clear spray after an it will make loose ends curl up. Then just sand again an you should be ok.
