Apple Ipad, Microsoft notebook question
 

After buying one of these do you have to purchase a line like its a phone to use it, or can you just use the router in your home already?

When the wife bought me the iPad for a birthday I was a little p o'd about the $ and didn't think I'd use it.... Dah
Haven't sat in front of the PC in yrs....... I even use it for GPS in the pickup,,,,,,

what Nebe said...if you want to use an ipad away from home where wifi is unavailable you need to get a model that will also work on your cell network and I believe that will typically cost $10 per month from you cell carrier...

in the not too distant future
wifi will be built into your clothes

Thanks everyone. Tried to get one brand, but could not locate any. Bought the small thin Surface Pro, 1.73 #'s. I am fully prepared for her to return it like she returns all my ogher gifts. At least with the pro everything is in the box. The Ipad its all extra.
