Anyone driving to/through the midwest and back to NE?
I know this is a total long shot but if anyone is headed out to the mid-west (Iowa in particular) I have a few smaller pieces of furniture I'm trying to move up here. I've looked into quotes from the uship places and it's cost prohibitive for what the items are worth.
Any other ideas on moving small furniture let me know - thanks |
Jeff, I agree. Shipping charges have gotten crazy. We tried to ship some stuff to SC last Nov and, for the price, I just bought new there.
Sam with shipping a car. Average price I was quoted was $700 to $800 one way for a little Suzuki SX4. |
Fly home. Rent a van and drive back. Simple

Just missed my trip but didn't have any room for stuff...your dad says HI! Doubt I have to go back to IA and drive back, but will keep you in mind if I do.
