In Fairhaven someone reminded me how long this website and it's intimate group of friends have been around. On the one hand it's a reminder that crap I'm getting old, but on the other hand I've met and had the pleasure of fishing with some really nice people. Here are a few folks I've had out on various boats and occassions, some you might recognize.

Couple more, then a time with Jenn (can't find pic), Goose who doesn't catch anything worth photographing apparently :) and many others.

By the way doesn't that picture of Clammer say a lot, how many others have similar pictures of Mike in a similar pose:)

GBOUTDOORS 03-06-2017 05:05 PM

Great times for sure. Mike always looks like that when he actually finally catches a fish.

Great news mike! I'm VERY HAPPY FOR YOU. I need someone to keep reminding me of my (lack of) any fishing ability (whatsoever)!

Just really great news.

Haven't seen a weakfish in a long, long time; I've only hooked one in all the years I've been fishing out of Westport. I remember back then I was thinking, WTF is this trout lost?

Clammer 03-07-2017 04:33 PM

I HAD A 14#plus on a pogie ><<> also had 5 -7 pounders at daybreak for a week on poppers ><<>

Got Stripers 03-07-2017 04:36 PM

Too long ago to remember the fight, but they are a pretty fish for sure, pound for pound I'll take Tog.

Clammer 03-07-2017 07:17 PM

Tog wins ><><

Slipknot 03-07-2017 07:58 PM

Always had a good time on the Ledgerunner, even yaking over the side out by cutty. I rmember the ledges in the Lund too, my introduction to jigging plastics. Thanks Bob
Just don't be catching more fish than your host:smash:

Clammer 03-07-2017 09:56 PM

f uck them ledges ><>

Jenn 03-07-2017 10:03 PM

:thanks: Lots of good memories with good folks for sure. Reminds me of when life was simpler and I actually had (found, made, I dunno...) time to fish! I am grateful for all the folks that took this baffoon on the water :)

piemma 03-08-2017 08:51 AM

Congrats Mike. I knew you would beat it. We're too grumpy to die young.

I'll bet St Peter is relieved, too.
I'm happy for you, and all the rest of us as well, Mike.
