RE:STRIPER FISHING THE CANAL

Hi John. I'd day some of the easiest (and safest) places to bring young kids to the canal are at the west end (mainland) just inside the Mass Maritime Academy and Pipps Rip, across from the plant (mainland) but down more towards Scusset Beach. Follow the road from the Sagamore rotary by Dunkin Donuts and follow until you get into the large parking lot and turn right alongside all the campers. This will bring you to another, smaller parking lot at the Rip. Rumor mill has fish at both ends of the Ditch!!

Good luck,

John
