Me and the wife are taking off tonight after I attend a wake for a real good guy. We are maybe heading north to Maine, I hope there is not too much snow. Hopefully we can find stuff to do.

ice fishing for white perch in the morning... Sunday a day of leisure ( and cleaning fish).. Monday back up north to jig lake trout.

Picked up the rental Hobie kayak this afternoon and am hooking up with a local kayaker to go after some snook, sea trout and whatever bites in Sarasota FL over the weekend.

Brisket on the smoker and Daytona 500.

Running around and shooting stuff.

Recuperating, on all fronts....

Got a call that Mom had fallen... not injured. Very confused. Probably UTI. Dementia sucks.....
Dani driving home from a week with her mom in hospital. Her brother is relieving her for three days... Her mom might be released over weekend.
And I am on day one of antibiotics for walking pneumonia....
Can only get better... but next Saturday is questionable for my attending Plugfest/TFCTFN....

Nursing some broken bones in my foot. Apparently I am not the baseball player I think I am. Catching for my sons bull pen session and took a 85 mph fast ball off the side of my foot. So it looks like I have a great excuse to watch the race on Sunday.

Staying at the house. Charleston is an absolute madhouse this weekend. Folly Gras, RV Show and The South East Wildlife Expo. 45,000 people in downtown and 6 to 7,000 on Folly Beach.

White out this weekend. It started snowing yesterday and is still at it, over a foot on the ground already and still snowing. If and when it stops I might head up to Park City or the Cottonwoods to get some fresh powder turns.
