Looking...
for schoolies on South Shore beaches this morning and afternoon. Didn't catch or have any hits... but, there were many whales (60 -70) cruising and Gannets diving along the coast between the mouth of Plymouth Harbor and Brant Rock all day. Quite the show with binoculars. Have seen them before in the spring, but not this many. Pretty cool. Beautiful day!

News had them on from someone's drone at the sea wall in Marshfield, very cool. Won't be long before the Stripers are here.

One of our local anglers took the first fresh run micro bass I've heard of yesterday morning in Newport. Sub legal Tog were caught on Saturday. Time to wet lines.

Fished South Shore again this morning again, no fish. Just all the Right Whales in the Atlantic cruising along again.

Ahhh, the age old is the season early last year or late this year.
Looks late this year. Weather has not produced the warm days and SW winds of a good spring |
Stuck my first schoolie yesterday. Felt good to get tight again. Cocohoe Minnow in april is tradition!
