Maserati at 40th Pole...not quite enough air outta the tires for this Chad! Keep diggin’!

Best part might be someone has morphed the Lyrics from Joe Walsh Life's been good

Quote:

Lisa Ford Grant Sing to Joe Walsh “life’s been good “

My Maserati is stuck in the sand,
I lost my brain and then my right hand,
Some local blue collar men in a truck,
Stopped to laugh at me and tell me I'm #^&#^&#^&#^&ed..
But, my daddy's rich and a lawyer to boot,
They laughed some more and told me "I'm cute"...
So I'm at the 40th pole buried quite deep,
Next time around, think I'll buy a Jeep.. https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/e...5/16/1f602.png

How do you air down low profile tires?...….

FWIW, an Escalade is going to cost a lot more than that rig. Just the wrong tool for the job, but might be able to get it done... kind of like the folks I see jamming tree limbs, leaves, trash barrels etc into their expensive foreign luxury sedans headed to town dump

Use to see all kinds of stupidity when I ran the Back years ago. Once this guy in an Eldorado drove on the front by the rangers station. There use to be a kind of wooden road right at the start. He was fine until he got off the boards then..... Rut Row!

A little thinking and prep and there is no reason that thing should stick. Almost 10" ground clearance at the highest setting, about an inch and a half more than a standard wrangler.

In my late teens/ early 20's I dragged so many friggin morons out on the hill to mission bell with the rover. Half weren't aired downed. I woulda left em if I coulda got by. They were always amazed that the 1973 4 cyclinder Land Rover had the balls to drag them out. I had em convinced it was cause it only ran on leaded gas. Told em if they added lead to their gas they'd never get stuck either..... The happy place for that war wagon was in that sugar sand. Tho it got to suck as 4x4's got bigger cause they made the tracks wider than the wheel base of the rover so would bounce back and forth runnin fast.

Funny thing is he made it onto the open beach, a lot of those trails on that side are actually a lot softer on the way out thru those dunes/hills than on the actual flat part of the beach itself. There's gotta be more to that story.
