Best reel for a bait rod?
 

I have a 10' bait rod that I thought I'd put a reel on and was wondering what was the best reel to slap on it. Basically chunking, squid, and whatnot. Something under $100 preferably.

Get a Shimmano Baitrunner 6500 on ebay for under $100.00, best reel for the money!

You could also put the Shimano 4500 on that rod and have plenty of line for the fish. Best reel made for the money and they are diehards.

Yeah, go for the 4500....plenty big enough, and a tad cheaper then the 6500.....I have the 4500 on my chunking stick......the 4500, brand new, should run ya $110 at the most, probably in the $90's if ya shop around.....
