I was on the CH taxi yesterday with the guy who had this. Original trophy. He actually lives next town over from me. I offered him $10,000 for it he said he had to think about it. Closed his eyes, woke up about 20 minutes later and said no. Glad he didn't call my bluff

Very neat - has there ever been a discussion on how that photo doesn't even look close to 50 lbs never mind 73 ;)

He was friends with the owner of the Allen house and they gave it to him. He and his wife go back to Cutty every year for 4 weeks.

I was a volunteer Doc for a week, and this guy comes around with "THE CUP".... I rubbed it and hugged it to bring me luck. It really didn't. But hard walking and hours often did.
