But it just does not seem to be all that special knowing that others already have them, even if they are not leagle. Sorry but if you are going to have these things out there they should have been quiet about them till the raffel was over!! What is the point of raffleing of the very first hat, when there are at least 3 others out there. Sorry John, but with draw my raffle!! Take the $10 bucks I sent and add it to my donation to the Rebecca & Emma fund!! I am sorry about this and I might get some crap over this but it was to be the first!! And that was what the money was to go for, To help get this going but it seems that they are going just fine with out the funds. |

Of coarse there had 1 or 2 to get it set up right. But that is were it should have ended. You have 1000 + members X $$ = $$$ To help for set up and and cost of the hat. So everyone says great and throws there cash in the ring. Great!! I agree with the whole thing!! Xtra cash goes to John to run the board, Great!! But how can you raffle a 1st hat and before the raffle is even over people start showing off there hats ?? A hat that I am bidding on that is a first?? It doesn't mater how you got it. I am sure they and you are all great guys! But should have kept them in hiding till the raffle was over! Said all I am going to say on this!! Fire away all the mad commets. |
no need for mad comments if you feel my hat is worth all this attention it must be kinda special!! so john when you pull the winners first and second get a hat Im donating mine to the site
and as for 1000 x $$ =$$$ you will be lucky if 10-20 people pitch in for this raffle if its like all the other raffles for as many people you would think there would be 1000! no mako nobody gets rich off these raffles if thats what this is all about and it has too be about that or you would not of mentioned it I hope this clears this up for you mako I dont want you walking around allday mad letting this eat you up try and make it a happy day!!!:D |

Guys - it's no prob - Mako, I'll do what you said. If anyone else want's to withdraw their bid let me know.
In a nutshell, Don & ALR stepped up bigtime and got the hats rolling. There were two preproduction hats (with GB and Bliz's name on it) that the people got to see in June. The hat I have for the raffle was a hat I got from Don back at the early Mass Leg in June. It is the first hat and is SUPPOSED to be the first hat out there. The rest of the run of hats will be avialable soon but this hat in the raffle is the first hat. As I said, I don't even have a hat yet ( it is a sweet hat) and I'm going to BUY one too when they come out regularly :D . The proceeds from the raffle are actually going to defray the cost of the hat and any proceeds of the hat are going to go to defreay the costs of the hat too. These hats won't be making money for the site - not while trying to sell them at a reasonable price.... These hats will be a quality hat for as reasonable of a price that we can get them for you all... Quote:
