Eastern Shore of VA, Cape Charles area, anyone been there?
 

Was around that area recently for a very short time, what I saw from the main road looked pretty damn poor, but I hear that the ocean and Chesapeake sides are pretty nice. Was thinking it might be a good place to go for a few days and check out the fishing and the blue crabs, maybe play some golf if not too hot.

Anybody know that area?

Not good enough on that area to give tips but Blue Crabs up in the criks ; )

The Tourists and City folks are called "Chickenneckers" becuase they use Chicken Necks for bait in the crab traps.

The locals will use a trot line with bait tied every few feet and scoop them up. Bet you would need permits though ;)
